All work and no play makes for dull programmers. Over
the last 20 years SoftSource has produced
some interesting tools that are the basis of our
commercial and OEM software.
Keeping it real, we
have also enjoyed playing some great games and
looking at interesting graphics produced by other
programmers. Not to be outdone we also designed
our own stereogram (magic eyes) and mandelbrot graphic generating utilities. Some of the fun
stuff ended up in our products. We also enjoy gambling poker games and have included to best ones here.
We hope you enjoy the graphics and the fun poker games.
And for something completely different, there are two new books
about the creation of Optical Illusions using our Vdraft CAD system. The first book is
Exploring Illusions Sketchbook which
documents over 100 plus CAD drawings of illusions and some of the steps in their development. The second book
Exploring Illusions - The Use of Optical Illusions in Art
digs into each painted work and its place in a new scheme of organizing illusions by major traits like White Space, Elliptical Forms, and Motion.
